![]() Necro has the best global win rate of those teams at 49.9%, followed by Khorne at 47.8%. As stated in previous posts, those aren’t exactly high performing teams in 2022. They only managed positive records against three other teams Chaos Chosen (52.3%), Ogres (51.5%) and Necro (50.4%). They had >55% win rates against Nurgle (62.5%) and Khorne (57.1%). What we are looking at is consistency and ability to regularly compete with other teams, particularly amongst average coaches.īlack Orcs didn’t regularly take the scalp of any strong teams in 2022. Like any team, well coached, they can beat anyone on their day. The short answer to that is of course yes. They have all of the weaknesses of Lizards with no speed to make up for it. The team has never inspired me to play them. However, I think I had one practice game with them just after the new edition came out. The models are great and I have a soft spot for a bit of greenskin (I had a Warhammer fantasy army of Orcs and Goblins back in the day). What’s my bias? I have a fully painted Black Orc team. When it comes down to it, there are few better motivators on the training ground than a bunch of angry Black Orcs ready to give you a kicking if you don’t take it seriously! They know they’re not as fast or nimble as some other teams, but they’re nothing short of peerless when it comes to bashing a hole in the line of scrimmage*** for a smaller player to run through, which is why they use Goblins to boost their running game (and to keep the Troll entertained with something to throw).Īnd these aren’t your typical Trolls and Goblins either – they’re highly trained**** and more reliable than the ones you’re used to seeing on the pitch. They can get frustrated by rowdy and frivolous Orcs, so would often rather form their own teams. We’ve just pulled some of the ones out as part of some highlights.īlack Orcs play to win.
